TalentEd is a refereed quarterly journal, designed to promote the exchange of information about current research, theory and best practice in gifted education and talent development. We try to cover content of interest to teachers, parents, and others interested in gifted children and their education.

Each issue comprises feature articles, a parental perspective, book, web site and materials reviews, research summaries, teaching units and contributions from talented young people. An annual 'Interview with a Scientist' competition is conducted, for students aged 17 or under, while an annual 'Research Award' and an annual 'Best Practice Award' are also offered.

The journal's focus is on research and practice in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region but we invite contributions from elsewhere and these are regularly included. Guidelines for contributors are provided below.
