TalentEd Amazing Brain Workshop
21 June 2008‘The Amazing Brain Workshop’ assists students to better understand the complex process of learning, and in particular, to increase their sense of control over their learning performance. Each student gets to dissect a real brain (from a sheep!), build models, engage in higher-order thinking activities and play games that demonstrate key brain processes. - TalentEd Lipogram Competition: Our challenge to children (aged 15 or under, at the time of their entry) is to produce the most interesting and longest story (or poem) that contains no use of the letters 'e' and 's'. Entries will be judged on literary merit as well as word count. $100.00 winner prize and a runner up prize of $ 50.00 may be awarded at the judges discretion.
